* Flea Market – Saturday, May 12th – Township Complex-Dan reported the new signs will be in by the next meeting. They were delayed by the sign company. He did bring old signs with new decal dates to this meeting. Approximately 25 Vendor spaces have been rented so far. A Volunteer Sign Up Sheet was passed around; we are coming up short on volunteers. We do have the EBYG committed. The American Water Management & Employees have committed to helping load and unload the truck. * Dine to Donate- Leslie reported that $18.00 was received from the Fiddleheads fundraiser. The snow storm was the day before, so that may have had an impact. Also, No Take Out allowed may have had an impact. The next dine to donate will be at Green Turtle on a Saturday, June 9th from 2pm-6pm and

it’s a “bring your dog” event. Leslie also reported that Bertucci’s Restaurant in North Brunswick has closed. This was a special place for our Dine to Donate. They have been very good to us. We look forward to a reopening close by soon.

A box of tabling event materials will need to come from storage.

* Paws to Read- Michele reported that the North Brunswick Public Library has been in touch with us and they are having a Used Book Sale on May 4th, May 5th & May 6th at the Brunswick Shopping Center. In conjunction with this Book Sale, the Library will host a Paws to Read fundraiser in which they will collect Cat Food for our Community Cat Program. For every can or box of unexpired cat food they donator receives $.50 off the sale of their book purchase.

* The Annual North Brunswick Youth Festival- Jennifer Peppe initiated a discussion on the fact that once again they will have working at this event wild life animals such as Elephants, Tigers, Ponies, etc. This is such an inhumane activity for these animals. Jennifer has been on Facebook on this subject and will draft a letter for Vincent’s signature. She will also contact Senator Ray Lesniack. It was also suggested we reach out to the Freeholders.
