September Membership Meeting

 The Meeting was Called to Order at 7:15pm by Vincent Sheehan-President                                                                                                    

 

The August Month Minutes read and accepted by the Membership

 Treasurer’s Report – Dan Smith Treasurer reported  11 items paid out this month for $2057.46

In Attendance: Michele Andrea, Leslie Earl, Theresa Spatoro, Vincent Sheehan, Lisa Colletta, Dan Smith, Erica Bundy , Jane Prestup, Dave Prestup, Jackie ,Sarah Ragsdale, Nancy Costello,Emily Trager, Nancy Scalzone, Jennifer Peppe, Jeanine DeNitto, Carol Paszamant, Jackie Gminder, Jocelyn Caffrey & Dina Carmy

 

 

Priority Issues:      

 

14th Annual Dog Walk-a-Thon & Dog Adoption Day Event- Michele & Dan gave an Update.

 

Michele reported:

  • 13 Sponsors, 41 Vendors, which includes 11 of the Sponsors & 6 Animal Rescues/Shelters.

We expect more Animal Rescues and Shelters to sign up as we get closer. They struggle with volunteers as  well.

  • The Schedule of Events for the day was reviewed.
  • Michele asked for 2 more volunteers to complete the Registration Desk- Jackie & Carol volunteered. Emily volunteered to work as an Event Greeter with Nancy after she finishes with Vendor Setup.
  • Erica, once again will be the Statistical Analysis complying the results quickly in Costume Contest.

Dan reported:

o       All Signs are up & have been placed around town.

o       September 29th  Dan & the American Water Employees will map out the event site

o       Members were asked to take Event Trifolds and place them at the register in their favorite store

 

 

CCP- Increasing our Community Presences- TNR Demonstration/ Training-NBHA is in need of people willing to assist in Trapping Feral Cats.

 

o       Theresa Spatoro gave us details on her background, which qualifies her to present a TNR Training Session. She has been a wonderfully skilled resourse in working and manning the TNR effort for the Community Cat Program.

 

o       Theresa was very thorough and provided a hands on demonstration on How To Trap Feral Cats

 

o       Q & A Session followed

 

 

Upcoming Fundraising Opportunities – Michele mentioned to take a 2017 Calendar printout and let her

know if you no longer available to work any event you signed up for.
