The Meeting was Called to Order by Vincent Sheehan at 7:09pm
Opening & Introductions took place by the Membership

Treasurer’s Report – Treasurer’s Report Deferred
MONTHLY ASSOCIATION UPDATES:
Updates
* Pet Food Bank – 106 cans of dog/cat food, 127 lbs of dry dog/cat food, 4 misc bags of treats
* CCP- Increasing our Community Presences
o An anonymous donor wrote a check for $5000.
o TNR update and funding support:
Total cats sponsored since inception of NBHA CCP: 703
Total # of cats in September 2016: 17
Discussion Points:
Programs Review – Current Fundraising Updates:
* Dog Walk was smaller turn out then last year but many more adoptions
* Pizza for Paws – October 20 Physical tickets are printed and about 56 people have signed up so far. There will be a silent auction fundraiser. Food and drink include pizza, soda, cookies, brownies and salad.
* Victory Subaru Pet Day – October 22nd at Victory Subaru will have cats and dogs for adoption event.
* Barnes and Noble Bookfair and Giftwrapping – Saturday December 17th We need more people from 7pm to close. In addition to bookfair and giftwrapping there will be school bands and choirs from North Brunswick, an art show from students in Piscataway, and online orders of cheesecakes picked up that day. We would also like to recommend our members’ favorite book picks. Please find ISBN # to help put the list together.
* Dine to Donate Bertucci’s in North Brunswick November 16th 12pm- 9pm 15% is donated to NBHA if you bring flyer

New Business: Committee format Feedback forms were distributed after sessions.
