NBHA General Meeting, February 9 2015

CALL TO ORDER: Vincent Sheehan 7:30 PM

Membership- Cheryl
Approximately 30 new members and renewals. Reminder to renew membership for 2015. Membership levels and benefits were discussed. Complete report available on request
Food Bank/Donation Cans – Sandy
Food bank is very low! Drop off stations are Magyar Bank, Shop Rite, Stop&Shop in Somerset. The only members authorized to pick up food from these locations are Sandy and Michele. Sandy asked for each member to commit to placing a donation can at a business in or near the community. January- Fed 13 dogs and 47 Cats.
Public Relations-Marilou
If NBHA provides a video clip, News 12 will air it from 8-9PM. They will accept a Group Shot. Technical help is needed to produce a video of good quality level. Michele will reach out to a photographer. If anyone has the ability to film a video, please contact Marilou.
Complimentary letter from Councilwoman Andrews was received and forwarded to LouAnn Benson. Details available on request.
OPEN ISSUES/OLD BUSINESS:
Discount Cards – Susan
No new sales.
Mr Subs – Jay
$36. Jay asked members to share on Facebook to promote the event. Marilou will post on Channel 15.
Stress Factory Update-Diana
Final committed sponsors=35. Final arrangements are in place for the event. Will be on Channel 15 and promoted on Facebook and Web Site. Marilou will try to share on 98.3.
NEW BUSINESS:
SCAD-Lisa
Possible date in November.
Flea Market – Cheryl/Dan
Date set for May 9, from 8AM-2PM. Township has paperwork.
