 Good & Welfare

Mark updated the membership on the situation in Middlesex Boro with the feral cats at the Presbyterian Church. The church reached an agreement with the township in which the cats can stay as long as the church picks up all uneaten food by 4pm. Additionally, in regard to the proposed Board of Health ordinance that would require if you housed 10 or more animals/pets, you are required to obtain a kennel license. The BOTH is also going to look into a special provision for those individuals who rescue and/or foster for rescue groups since these animals are usually not licensed in the Boro.

·         Jay and the Board recognized and thanked all the members who have been working on the 2 upcoming major events (Flea Market/Rummage Sale & Supper Cat Adoption) for their tireless effort. He acknowledged some members who have gone over an above in owning their responsibilities in these events. Acknowledged was: Lisa Coletta, Dan Smith, Lora Muckin, Eileen Lorner, Sharon Weinstein-Canavan, Kelly Schlossberg and Kari Deleon.

·     Jay mentioned that at no time should any member give another members contact information out to anyone. If asked for the contact information, please just say “I will have that person contact you”.

· Jay raised the subject of sidebars at meetings. The members were asked to respect each other by not participating in sidebars while another member has the floor.
